Silica/Silicon Dioxide Benefits / Indications:Anti-Aging, Hydration, Supports Collagen Organic Silicium--An important trace mineral that provides strength and flexibility to the connective tissues of your body. Anti-Aging--Silicium promotes the production of collagen. Collagen is the most abundant protein found in the body responsible for maintaining the skins youthfulness. Silicium increases our body’s natural collagen levels and reduces the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles. Studies show that supplementation of silicium improved the texture of sun damaged skin in 20 weeks. Hydration--Silicium stimulates and binds to a specialized protein in the body called glycosaminoglycans (GAGs). GAGSs holds up to 1000 times their weight in water and promotes skin hydration. Silicium plays an important role in maintaining the skins elasticity. Studies have shown topical use and supplementation of silicium significantly improved the elasticity, texture and hydration of the skin. Nail & Hair Health--Silicium promotes the production of keratin. Keratin is the building block of hair, skin and nails. Silicium delivers essential nutrients straight to your hair follicles and nail beds. Studies show that supplementation of silicium over a 20 week time period significantly improved brittleness of both hair and nails. (Reference: SkinScience.org)

Hyaluronic Acid is a naturally occurring molecule found throughout almost every fluid and tissue in our bodies, primarily in the skin, eyes, and joints. In fact, approximately 50% of the total HA resides in the skin [1.] Hyaluronic Acid is crucial to the moisture and elasticity of our skin. Unfortunately, as we age, the concentration and molecular weight of HA substantially decrease[2.] Because of this, hyaluronic acid has been widely researched and formulated as a powerful active ingredient in serums, moisturizers, and other cosmetic products.  There are technically three types of hyaluronic acid molecules that are formulated into skincare products: (1) Hydrolyzed hyaluronic acid (2) Sodium acetylated hyaluronate and (3) Sodium hyaluronate. Anti-Aging--Hyaluronic Acid helps reduce the visibility of fine lines and wrinkles retaining moisture to the skin, creating a plumping effect. When the skin is protected and hydrated, increased skin cell production can take place, as the skin isn’t busy fighting for hydration. This leads to smoother, plumper skin cells. Skin Brightener. Products formulated with hyaluronic acid can also brighten skin’s appearance. Skin will appear smoother and plumped with hydration after use. When there is increased cell turnover, hyaluronic acid also helps reduce and prevent age spots and pigmentation issues. Hydration. Think of hyaluronic acid like a BIG drink of water for your skin. It is able to hold up to 1,000 times its molecular weight in water [3.] Hyaluronic acid penetrates the skin and binds water to skin cells, infusing all layers of the skin with valuable, rejuvenating moisture.hyaluronic acid boosts your skin’s moisture retention. You’ll want to keep your skin hydrated, because youthful-looking skin maintains its glowing, dewy appearance thanks to moisture, according to research published by the National Institutes of Health.  (reference SkinScience.org)

Helianthus annuus seed oil. Being very high in vitamin E, it acts as an emollient which traps moisture and keeps skin well hydrated. It also helps prevent damage to cells by ultraviolet light and aids against premature aging of skin by protecting the collagen and elastin content.
